Prime Landscape Services has been doing business in the DFW Metroplex area since 1990 and is centrally located in Arlington on a 1.6-acre facility.

We are one of the ten largest landscape contractors in Tarrant County, currently employing over one hundred team members and providing professional landscape services for more than 1800 commercial and residential properties.

The staff of Prime Landscape Services currently includes:

Prime Landscape Services is a recipient of the prestigious Texas Excellence in Landscaping Awards sponsored by the Texas Nursery and Landscape Association, including Silver Awards in both "Residential Design and Installation Over $50,000.00" and "Special Projects - Environmental Awareness."

We have also received several Bronze Awards in both Commercial and Residential Design and Installation, and several Honorable Mentions.

Greg Hamann
President and CEO

Greg started Prime Landscape Services in 1990 after working in the construction trades and building supply business. His entrepreneurial spirit, work ethic, and drive propelled his business from a 3 man operation to a multi-million dollar company with a payroll of over 100 peak season employees.

Greg is one of the rare business owners who has had hands-on experience in every aspect of his business and continues to manage it with a hands-on approach, maintaining an intimate knowledge of all operations. Providing the highest level of customer service is the foundation on which he built his company and he continues to maintain contact with a large segment of the clientele.

Greg has a BS in Biology from the University of Texas in Arlington and is a State Licensed Irrigator and State Licensed Backflow Tester.

Whenever we can tear Greg away from work, he enjoys spending time with his family, building and racing cars, water sports, and fishing.

Kent Spradlin
Director of Maintenance Operations

Kent has worked in the green industry since 1985. His resume includes several years as a successful owner/operator, Maintenance Manager, Landscape Construction Superintendent, and Operations Manager before coming on board with Prime Landscape in 2005.

Kent has oversight of the scheduling and routing of the maintenance crews, equipment and purchasing decisions, and quality control. Many of our clients have had long term relationships with Kent and he always finds a way to put customer relations ahead of any day to day operations issues.   

Kent enjoys hunting, fishing, putting his kids through college, and the occasional trip to the Horse Races!

Spencer Young
Foreman/Water Features Specialist

Spencer began his career in greenhouse production in 1995 and managed an annual color production nursery for several years, joining Prime Landscape in 2008 to work in the water features construction department.

Spencer oversees construction of water features including ponds, fountains, and waterfalls, and manages the ongoing maintenance of our client’s water features. Spencer recently passed and received his designation as a Certified Landscape Professional from the Texas Nursery and Landscape Association  

Spencer is an avid hunter and enjoys quality time with his family.

Chris Lambeth
Plant Health Manager

Chris maintains his TDA Certified Applicator’s License in Lawn and Ornamental, and has over 15 years experience.

He coordinates our lawn and ornamental plant health applications and scheduling and oversees one or more technicians seasonally.   

Chris enjoys his family time and is an avid bass fisherman.

John Hoover
General Manager

John has 26 years experience in the green industry both as an owner and manager.

His qualifications include an Associates in Applied Science Horticulture degree from Tarrant County College, Texas Licensed Irrigator, Texas Department of Agriculture Certified Applicator, Texas Nursery and Landscape Association Certified Landscape Professional, and Certified Aquascape Contractor.

John has been the General Manager at Prime Landscape since 2005.

John assists in both the day to day operational decisions as well as strategic planning for all areas of the business, including irrigation and plant health management practices, landscape design and construction practices, marketing, and organizational strategies. 

When John’s not working at the office or in his own garden, he enjoys travelling in his RV to hike, kayak, hunt, and fish with his wife.

Mark Ford
Director of Customer Relations and Sales

Mark has over 20 years experience in the green industry. He has worked in all areas of the landscape industry and also built new custom homes for several years.

Mark has extensive experience in landscape design and outdoor lighting, and his emphasis on client relations has been the backbone of his many successful endeavors.

Mark handles client relations for a large segment of our customer base and provides landscape design and landscape lighting design for select projects.   

Mark enjoys snow skiing, fishing, and spending time with his family.

Tony Hernandez 
Superintendant/Site Supervisor

Tony has been working in the green industry since 1990.

He has worked his way from the ground up through the years, accruing experience in greenhouse production, landscape construction, and turf maintenance.

Tony maintains his Texas Department of Agriculture Certified Applicator license and has several years of hand-on experience in turf enhancement.

Tony assists with the scheduling and routing of crews, and then spends the balance of his time overseeing crews in the field and inspecting properties and projects for quality control.   

Tony is an enthusiastic soccer player on the weekends.
